Liquid Stevia Extract Substitute: China Supply Chain Advantage
When formulating sugar-reduced products, many developers default to stevia liquids, then hit two walls: bitter aftertaste and price swings on Reb M supply. Hunan Huacheng Biotech offers a direct, budget-friendly route around both – monk fruit liquid extract, manufactured in our integrated Chinese facility. It replaces liquid stevia extract one-to-one in most applications, without the flavour masking workarounds. Our certifications (FDA, HACCP, GMP, CE, BRC) mean you get the same audit-ready documentation you expect from a global sweetener partner, at a per-kilo cost that often undercuts purified stevia liquids by 15–30%. We don’t just sell powder. Since 2013 we’ve been shipping liquid concentrates to beverage, dairy, and sauce brands across 40+ countries, every batch traceable back to the monk fruit orchard and extraction line.
Technical Detail
Huacheng Biotech anchors its liquid monk fruit supply on a closed-loop chain in Yongzhou, Hunan – one of the few regions where monk fruit can be cultivated at scale outside Guangxi. The site integrates seedling labs, grower cooperatives, and a 6,000m² extraction workshop running low-temperature water extraction with ceramic membrane filtration. No ethanol, no resins. The output is a standardised 50% mogroside V liquid concentrate, amber to pale yellow, stable at pH 2–8, and soluble in water at room temperature. That matters when you’re swapping out a stevia liquid: you don’t need to re-engineer your dosing pumps or hot-fill temperatures. From a sourcing angle, dealing directly with the factory solves three common pain points. First, seasonal availability – we hold six months of cold-room fruit inventory and contract 2,000+ farm households, so even when stevia leaf prices spike, monk fruit liquid pricing stays predictable. Second, documentation – our five certifications (FDA, HACCP, GMP, CE, BRC) line up with EU and North American retailer standards, so a single spec sheet and COA usually pass your quality desk. Third, logistics – we ship 200L aseptic bags or 1,000L IBC totes from Guangzhou or Shanghai, with typical FCL lead times of 3–4 weeks to Rotterdam, Los Angeles, or Jebel Ali. Functionally, the liquid behaves like a high-intensity sweetener base: 50% mogroside V is roughly 150–200 times sweeter than sucrose, but the sweetness curve builds slower and fades cleaner than most Reb A or Reb M liquids, especially in carbonated soft drinks and fruit-flavoured yogurts. That means you can hit a sweetness equivalency of 10°Brix with 0.05–0.08% usage, often without needing erythritol or allulose for mouthfeel, which further cuts your unit cost. For brands that need a clean-label "sweetener (monk fruit extract)" declaration, it avoids the “steviol glycosides” line that some European retailers are starting to flag. We’re not here to tell you monk fruit is better than stevia in every case. But if you’re already buying a stevia liquid from China and want a second source that punches at the same sweetness intensity, with less aftertaste work and a comparable or lower landed cost, our liquid is worth a side-by-side bench trial. Samples in 1kg, 25kg, and pilot-scale 200kg quantities are available with COA and technical data sheet within 48 hours.

FAQ
On a sweetness-equivalent basis, our 50% mogroside V liquid typically costs 15–30% less per finished litre of beverage than a comparable Reb M 95% liquid. This comes from simpler extraction (water vs. solvent) and lower downstream blending requirements, since monk fruit has little bitterness to mask.
In most still and carbonated drinks, yes. You’ll usually match sweetness at the same dilution rate. You may notice a cleaner finish and can often reduce or remove the bitterness masker. For high-protein shakes or very acidic systems (pH below 2.5), a short stability trial is advised.
Our liquid monk fruit extract is produced under BRC, GMP, and HACCP-certified lines. The factory holds FDA registration, and the product carries CE compliance for EU machinery standards. Every shipment comes with a certificate of analysis, non-GMO statement, and allergen-free declaration.
We ship 200L aseptic bags and 1,000L IBC totes via sea freight. For smaller pilot orders, we can arrange air freight in 25kg jerrycans. Standard FCL lead time from order to departure is 3–4 weeks. Samples are dispatched within 48 hours.
For first trials, you can order as little as 1kg or 25kg. Commercial quantities start at one 200L bag per item. We work with both startups and multinationals, and the factory MOQ is designed to fit a production-scale trial without locking in excess inventory.
