Premium China Red Ginseng Extract from Huacheng Biotech
When sourcing red ginseng extract from China, consistency and supply chain control matter as much as the active compounds. At Hunan Huacheng Biotech, our approach is rooted in vertical integration—from raw material cultivation in Northeastern Chinese ginseng regions to multi-stage extraction in our ISO-certified facilities. We don’t just resell; we process under the same quality systems that have earned us GMP, HACCP, FDA, BRC and CE credentials. Our production capacity supports bulk orders without the long lead times that often frustrate buyers. While our brand is better known for monk fruit sweeteners, that same rigor applies to our red ginseng line: each lot undergoes HPLC fingerprinting and heavy metal screening before release. For buyers looking to lock in a cost-effective, traceable premium extract, the sweet spot often lies in working with a mid-size manufacturer that can still give you direct access to the R&D team. That’s where we fit.
Technical Detail
Red ginseng extract is a complex product. The difference between an ordinary concentrate and a premium-grade extract often comes down to two things: the starting material and the extraction process. At Huacheng Biotech, our red ginseng supply chain starts with contracted farms in the Changbai Mountain region, where roots are harvested at 5-6 years maturity—a practice that balances ginsenoside profiles with cost. After steaming and drying, the roots enter our extraction facility in Hunan. We use a counter-current ethanol-water system that achieves a final extract ratio of 10:1 to 30:1, depending on customer specs. Our in-house QC lab runs routine tests for ginsenosides (Rg1, Rb1, Rg3, etc.), pesticide residues, and microbial limits, backed by the same certifications that support our monk fruit business: GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FDA registration, BRC grade A, and CE marking. Production capacity reaches 5,000 metric tons of herbal extract annually, which means we can handle FCL orders without strain. Beyond the technical side, we offer flexible packaging from 25-kg drums to custom OEM bags, and our documentation package is designed to clear customs smoothly—certificate of origin, COA, MSDS, and more. For formulators, we can provide samples in 50-gram pouches within 5 business days. Since we operate on a lean budget model, our pricing reflects direct-factory efficiencies rather than marketing overhead. If you’re comparing quotes from multiple suppliers, ask for our latest COA and batch data; we’re happy to share them before you commit.

FAQ
Our standard specification for premium extract is ≥8% total ginsenosides by HPLC, but we regularly produce batches at 10%, 20%, and even 30% on request. The minimum order quantity for custom specs is usually 100 kg. We’ll send a pre-shipment sample for your lab to verify.
Every lot is tested in our Nanjing-based in-house lab for ginsenoside profile, heavy metals (Pb, As, Hg, Cd), pesticide residues, and microbiology. We also retain a 4-year sample archive. Our BRC and GMP certifications mean we follow strict SOPs for cleaning and cross-contamination prevention.
At the moment our standard red ginseng line is conventional, but we can source organic-certified roots and process them under NOP/EU organic standards upon request. Lead time typically extends by 2-3 weeks, and MOQ is higher due to segregation requirements.
The standard product is a fine brownish-yellow powder, 100% soluble in water. We can also supply granulated (40-80 mesh) or microencapsulated versions to improve flowability and mask bitterness. Granulation adds about 5-10% to the unit price.
We include a standard export package: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, COA, MSDS, and bill of lading. If your country requires extra certificates (e.g., fumigation, free sale, health certificate), we can arrange those as well—just let us know during order confirmation.
Share your product type, target capacity, and application requirements. Our team can review the details and recommend a practical next step.
