Elderberry Extract Wholesale: Technical Value, No Premium Price
Wholesale buyers often face a trade-off: pay extra for documented purity, or risk inconsistent quality at a lower price. Our approach keeps both in check. We operate the full extraction chain—from berry sourcing to final powder—so the steps that usually inflate cost are internal. The result is a standardized elderberry extract that fits tight margins without skipping on third-party lab verification. This isn’t about cutting corners; it’s about removing them from the supply equation.
Technical Detail
The extract we supply comes from a process designed for throughput, not handcrafted small batches. By running large-scale, continuous extraction lines under GMP and HACCP protocols, we flatten the per-kilo cost while holding anthocyanin markers within a tight spec. This matters for manufacturers who need to list active compounds on a label without absorbing the premium that boutique suppliers charge. We also hold BRC certification, meaning the facility is audited against a global food-safety standard that many retail chains require. Beyond paperwork, the practical upside is fewer delays at incoming QC: each lot arrives with a certificate of analysis covering microbial limits, heavy metals, and assay. For projects where margin pressure is real, switching to a mid-to-large lot can drop the landed cost noticeably. We usually recommend starting with a 25 kg sample to run a production trial, then scaling to pallet orders once the line is dialed in. Because we don’t rely on brokers or intermediate distributors, the lead time from order to shipment stays predictable, typically around 10–14 working days depending on stock levels.

FAQ
We set a minimum anthocyanins percentage in the specification, and our in-house lab confirms it on every batch. Because we own the extraction lines, the premium you’d normally pay for this consistency is baked into our operating costs, not a markup.
Standard packing is a food-grade, double-bag system inside a fiber drum. For humid transit routes, we add desiccant packs and vacuum-seal the inner bag. Most customers see no degradation in potency as long as the seal isn’t broken prematurely.
We typically suggest 25 kg as a trial quantity. It’s enough to run a few pilot batches and get a feel for the extract’s behavior in your formulation without committing to a full pallet.
BRC and GMP certifications help, but they’re not a shortcut. They mean the facility has been audited against criteria many retailers and regulators recognize. Having them often speeds up vendor qualification, but you’ll still need to do your own due diligence.
Cool and dry is the short answer. Unopened, the product holds within spec for two years from the manufacture date when kept below 25 °C and away from direct light. Once opened, we advise resealing the inner bag immediately and using the material within 60 days.
