Cranberry Extract with Supply-Chain Control: Better Quality at a Practical Cost

cranberry fruit extract

When beverage teams use cranberry extract to balance flavor and cost, standardized raw materials can be either too impure or unnecessarily expensive. Hunan Huacheng Biotech reaches upstream into cultivation and works with North American cranberry harvest supply before completing counter-current extraction and spray drying in a domestic GMP workshop. FDA, BRC, and HACCP controls keep anthocyanin variation within +/-5%. The reason we can call the product budget-friendly is the integrated chain across raw material, production, and testing: channel and quality-control costs that are normally passed to the customer are absorbed inside the process.

Technical Detail

Configured around process stability, mold life, and long-term uptime.

Huacheng Biotech delivers cranberry extract through an integrated supply chain. Seasonal agreements with North American growing regions support raw-material planning, while pesticide, heavy-metal, and microbiological screening is completed before intake. Low-temperature counter-current extraction helps protect heat-sensitive compounds, and the finished product is normally a fine purple-red powder. Anthocyanin content can be adjusted from 1% to 25%, with sugar-free, water-soluble, or granulated grades available. Quality control runs from HPLC fingerprint comparison at raw-material receipt through in-process monitoring and final reports under USP and EP references. FDA registration, BRC Grade A, and CE documentation reduce the explanation needed for customs and customer audits. Applications include juice powders, functional gummies, solid drinks, and urinary-health supplement formulas. Technical staff can recommend encapsulation or buffer systems for a formula's pH and processing temperature, helping avoid fading or sediment. Samples and small custom batches are available before a larger order.

FAQ

Common technical questions

Which active component is your cranberry extract standardized to?

The standard product is commonly standardized to 15% anthocyanins by HPLC. We also offer 25% high-content and lower-content economic grades. Other polyphenol and PAC data can be included in the batch report.

What is the MOQ, and can I test a sample first?

Common grades start at 25 kg, while special custom work may start at 50 kg. Samples are free with freight payable by the recipient and normally ship within three working days with a batch-test summary.

How does supply-chain control reduce cost?

We source from the producing region and complete manufacturing in our own plant, avoiding trading layers. Scale absorbs part of the quality-control cost, so quotations are often 15-20% below similarly certified suppliers without sacrificing batch consistency.

Will the extract fade or precipitate in acidic drinks?

The pure extract is generally color-stable below pH 3.5, although trace sediment may appear during long storage. We can offer a microencapsulated version or recommend a buffer system and run an application sample.

What extra documents are needed for EU export?

Shipments normally include BRC, batch COA, irradiation or pesticide declarations, and heavy-metal reports. We have exported to Germany and the Netherlands and can help prepare the technical data package.
