What extraction method do you use for elderberry, and does it affect price?
We use ethanol-water extraction followed by concentration and spray drying. This method is standard for berry anthocyanins and doesn't add exotic solvent costs, which helps keep the price competitive. If you need a different carrier or a concentrated juice powder, we can adjust the process, but the base extraction remains cost-efficient.
How do you control anthocyanin content batch-to-batch?
Our QA team tests each batch by HPLC-UV against cyanidin-3-glucoside standard. We blend extracts from multiple production runs if needed to hit a narrow spec, say 13±2% anthocyanins. All data goes into the COA with retention samples kept for three years.
