Monk Fruit Juice Concentrate: Technical Details for Cost-Conscious Buyers
Monk fruit concentrate is not new, but few suppliers combine stable supply with practical pricing. As a manufacturer covering cultivation through extraction, Hunan Huacheng Biotech focuses on usable parameters such as Brix, sweetness ratio, and microbial limits rather than vague claims about being natural. Fresh monk fruit is pressed and concentrated on our line without added sugar or preservatives. The concentrate is roughly 200 times sweeter than sucrose, so a small dosage can replace a much larger amount of sugar. For industrial users, that also lowers transport and storage cost. We provide technical specifications and application guidance for formulation work.
Technical Detail
This monk fruit juice concentrate is a light yellow to brownish liquid with a clean, sweet taste and negligible aftertaste. Typical specifications: Brix 65-70°; mogroside V content not less than 2.5% (depending on grade); pH 4.0-6.0. It is produced from fresh Siraitia grosvenorii fruits through a water extraction and concentration process that avoids organic solvent residues. Unlike many suppliers who rely on semi-finished intermediates, we manage the entire chain from seedling to final product. That means we can trace every batch back to its growing region and harvest date. The result is a consistent supply that doesn't swing with spot market prices, and we pass that stability on to your production schedule. Storage: keep in a cool, dry place away from direct light; shelf life 24 months unopened. Applications range from still and carbonated beverages, dairy alternatives, sauces, to nutritional bars. Because of the high sweetness intensity, usage levels are typically 0.05%–0.5% of finished product. We also offer custom standardization of mogroside V content if your recipe demands a specific sweetness profile.

FAQ
It depends on the mogroside V grade, but generally a 65 Brix concentrate will deliver about 150–250 times the sweetness of sucrose on a weight basis. For practical formulation, you can think of adding roughly 0.1% to achieve sweetness similar to 10% sugar in a beverage, though exact ratios need to be tested with your other ingredients.
Because we control the raw material supply—from our contracted farming bases in Guangxi—we can blend different picking seasons to maintain a steady mogroside V level. Every batch is HPLC tested and adjusted if necessary before release. We also provide a certificate of analysis with each shipment that includes Brix, pH, heavy metals, and microbial counts.
Yes, it is water-soluble and typically gives a clear solution after proper filtration. However, at very low pH or high ethanol content, some precipitation may occur due to natural pectin residues. We can provide a depectinized version if clarity is critical—just mention it when inquiring.
We are certified under FDA, HACCP, GMP, CE, BRC, and ISO 22000. These cover food safety management, good manufacturing practices, and traceability. We can supply the documentation needed for your regulatory filing.
